Good morning Howie, this is good old Mike Bernardo from the 71 Kennedy HS Plainview NY class saying hello. I live in south central Jersey about one hr drive north of AC. I recall you had a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor in high school and Howie you were always well dressed. I am glad you are happily married and are a resident of the Garden State?. I am a medical device tech testing porcelain and ceramic components for dental restoration. Lab work but more fun than work. We have a gym, all sort of challenges to keep yourself healthy and win 300 dollars annually. I dressed up as Santa for a previous company Christmas party. This past year I came in my gorilla suit. I did not come to any hs reunion but I did return to Long Island and the Plainview area in 2008 after not being on LI since 1995. last person I met was the late Phil Socci in the early 1980s on the streets of Manhattan. I basically lived in 4 places in my life. Plainview NY grew up lived also in Suffolk Co worked as a tech in the pharmaceutical field in Shirely NY..spent time in No Jersey near Palisades and now for past 20 yrs live in south central Jersey. I have no children. Two weeks I return with my group to the Carribean this time we go to Antigua Martinique and St Lucia on a catamaran trip with some European couples. The area west of Waldbaums shopping center is completely renovated.The last person I met was the late Phil Socci in the early 1980s on the streets of Manhattan. I basically lived in 4 places in my life. Plainview NY grew up lived also in Suffolk Co worked as a tech in the pharmaceutical field in Shirley NY..spent time in No Jersey near Palisades and now for past 20 yrs live in south central Jersey. I have no children. Two weeks ago our group took a catamaran trip to St Lucia, Martinique, and Antiqua. We were residing in Martinique. We intend to go to Rancho de la Puerta, the Mexican health wellness spa about 2 hrs south of San Diego. Have you gone to any reunions and still in touch with any classmates now? This is good old Mike Bernardo saying hello. I recall you in the halls of JFK HS joking around with me near the science lab. I am a medical device tech testing stents on a scanning machine in central jersey. I actually live in south central jersey..I returned to Long Island in 2008 to revisit Plainview NY I only recall Regal Deli on Old Country RD and the library. The whole Waldbaums shopping center was completely renovated and uplifted. I revisited on old HS and the new tech center they have. I never went to a HS reunion and the last classmate I saw was the late Phil Socci on the streets of Manhattan in the early 1980s. My last residence on LI was in Suffolk Co near Medford NY and worked off the LIE exit 68 near Shirley. I basically lived in two places in jersey /IN north Jersey near Palisades Park and for the last 20 yrs near Toms River NJ. i am being compensated for staying healthy onmy job in the STRIVE health plan. I have no children. I emailed about fifteen classmates after the 40 yr reunion but did not go since my father passed on at that time. Drop me a line and say hello. Take care. Mike

This is good old Mike bernardo from the class of 71 Plainview kennedy. I live in south central jersey about one hr drive north of AC. I work as a medical device tech testing porcelain and ceramic components for dental restoration like bridges. I recall your smile and I believe you were in my Spanish class, or History or Mr Blouin's English class. We use to meet at Plainview Community pool. I have no children and have lived half my life on LI ( two places), Plainview and moved to Suffolk Co near Medford NY and worked in a pharmaceutical firm near Shirley NY. Spent time in north jersey near Palisades Park and now live near ToMs River NJ for the last 19yrs. We have been travelling with the group to the Carribean for many yrs like in two weeks we go to Antigua and Martinique area. Never been to any HS reunions although I wanted to go for 40th but my dad passed on week before. Last person I met from class of 71 was the late Phil Socci of the streets of Manhattan in the early 1980s. I did return to LI in 2008 and revisited some friends both in Nassau and Suffolk co..You still live on LI? did you go to any reunions? are you still in contact with any former classmates?
